Undergraduate—How to Transfer and Apply

How to Apply

We accept students for fall, spring and summer semesters. UNC Greensboro operates under rolling admission, so the earlier you apply, the better. New and former students may apply online. Our application process typically takes four to six weeks once materials are received. All requested information must be received by posted deadlines.

How to Transfer Credits

Students may transfer a maximum of 64 semester hours from a community college, or an unlimited number of hours from an accredited 4-year institution. Visit UNC Greensboro's Transfer Credit Policies to learn more.

Application Checklist

To make your application come together quickly and efficiently, we've created a handy checklist of steps to perform and things to remember.
