How to Transfer and Apply
We accept transfer students for fall and spring semesters. UNC Greensboro operates under rolling admission for transfers and adult students, so the earlier you apply, the better. New and former students may apply online. Our application process typically takes four to six weeks once materials are received. All requested information must be received by posted deadlines.
Applying for our graduate programs is an online process, and we've made it as easy and convenient as possible. Note that your application will not be forwarded for review from The Graduate School until all supporting forms are received, such as transcripts and recommendations. Check the requirements of your field of study for necessary materials.
