PBC in Birth through Kindergarten Initial Licensure
The online Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Birth–Kindergarten (B-K) Initial Licensure provides graduate-level training for students with a bachelor's degree in early childhood or a related field seeking an initial North Carolina B-K teaching license.

- Synchronous classes meet at set times in the evenings
- Complete in 3-5 semesters
- Participate in field experiences and full-time student teaching in high-quality inclusive settings
- Jointly administered with the Department of Human Development and Family Studies
