The highly collaborative MAAS program begins with three new courses that teach you to apply what you learn to real problems:

  • Systems Thinking
    Introduces you to the basics of systems thinking—teaching you to see things holistically, recognize patterns and connections, and learn how to analyze and produce creative solutions.
  • Design Thinking
    Focuses on a human-centered approach to problem-solving and innovation. You will collaborate in highly interactive peer review groups and build individual prototypes that address a problem of your choosing.
  • Understanding Data
    Examines a hot topic in business today, Big Data, and what to do with it. You will learn how to use relational databases in business analysis, extract stories from the data, and learn to use data visualization.
